Grahn’s impact on Viking athletics stretches back 36 years when he arrived on the Park Blocks as a stu- dent-athlete in 1969. over duties at 174-pounds, a spot usually held by senior Karras Kalivas. Both Vikings Recently, he has over- seen the Vikings’ return to NCAA Division I as a mem- ber of the Pac-10 confer- ence. Grahn was an outstanding wrestler for the Vikings for four years under legendary coaches Howard Westcott and Don Conway, compiling a record of 53 win and 13 Duryee. Schneider’s competition, Tony Rolen, used a takedown with :15 seconds left losses, with 26 pins from 1969 through 1973.
