She has appeared on BBC1 and BBC Radio 2, as well as being a featured choral vocalist on the Disney’s Cinderella (2015) soundtrack. She has also worked with an array of producers and recording artists globally which most recently includes Ellie Goulding, Sir Tom Jones, Madonna, Damon Albarn (Blur, Gorrillaz), Will Young and Shane Filan (formerly Westlife). Alanna has thrilled guests with her smooth vocals at wedding and corporate events. Alanna & The Qs have performed across London and prestigious venues in the UK with their soulful and rich sound. Q LIVE NOVEMBER 2017 Rachel Trio Friday 3rd November // 21:00-23:00 Rachel is a highly experienced and sought after session vocalist who has backed up the likes of HURTS, Giles Peterson, Giovanca and Elshay while featuring on many notable releases across the globe including the Radio 1’s Dev. International gigs included The Palm Dubai, The Venetian Macao and Four Seasons Florence along with some of the biggest venues across London and the UK. Rachel has been entertaining globally for over 5 years and can hold crowds of up to 5000+ for huge New Years Eve events and exclusive celebrity wedding and parties. Rachel and her trio perform an upbeat and exciting set full of modern pop and classic songs. Q LIVE NOVEMBER 2017 Florence (7 piece) Friday 3rd November // 23:00-00:20 Florence is a jazz/soul singer with an impressive vocal range inspired from legendary female vocalists such as Aretha Franklin, Eva Cassidy and Martha Reeves. She has supported artists including Katie Melua and Carla Bruni. Her album, A Fool in Love, features authentic jazz/soul, raw grooves and rhythm. Equally at home in the studio or in concert, Florence is a natural performer with a fresh but mature sound. She has performed at a number of top European festivals including: The Isle of Wight festival, 02 Wireless, and Bestival. Florence was also invited by Tom Jones to be his special guest on his European tour, during which she performed to 300,000 people, including 12 arena shows in Britain. Q LIVE NOVEMBER 2017 DJ Jamie Friday 3rd November // 00:20-03:00 Son of legendary David Rodigan, Jamie has been surrounded by music his whole life. His childhood played a pivotal role throughout his life. He was heavily influenced by reggae music from a young age, and his eclectic DJ sets today reflect these musical experiences growing up. His range spans from Rare Groove and House to Jungle and Garage. He is a resident for dancehall night ‘Mudd Up!’ in london, and hosts shows on top urban station ‘Bang Radio’ and ‘Mi Soul’. He has also turned his hand to production, releasing the acclaimed ‘Paranoid Riddim’ on New York’s Dubshot and working with up-and-comers such as a Sara Lugo and Dutchie Gold. Q LIVE NOVEMBER 2017 DJ Ella Saturday 4th November // 12:00-16:00 Ella is a London-based DJ who has built a strong reputation as being one of the cities most sought after DJ’s. Following a highly successful dancing and modelling career having trained at The Royal Ballet School, Ella turned her attention to behind the decks. Ella currently has London residencies at Radio Rooftop and London’s Paravana. She has also performed at many of London’s hottest clubs including ‘Egg’, playing alongside greats such as Nicole Moudaber & Yousef. She has also played at London’s ‘Le Peep Boutique’, Madison, Quaglino’s, Amika, Bluebird, Movida, Mode, Projekt, Lost Society and Lost Angel to name a few. Ella has played for brands such as Arcadia, Topshop, ASOS, Miss Selfridge, M.A.C, Very.co.uk & Next as well as DJing for various celebrities’ private parties. Ella’s DJ sets greatly depend on venue & crowd. Her music is generally a fusion of genres from down-tempo to House & Disco, making her an adaptable party DJ who can adjust her repertoire to suit all ages. Q LIVE NOVEMBER 2017 Lorena Dale Trio Saturday 4th November // 21:00-23:00 Energetic, dynamic and full of soul, Lorena is an unforgettable vocalist who knows how to pack a punch. Her powerful vocals and theatrical flair captivate audiences whether it’s a low-key intimate setting or a high-octane concert of festival proportions. Having performed internationally at festivals, corporate and wedding events, and more recently to 18,000 people at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Lorena offers the full package as a charismatic entertainer; a statement supported by her extensive client list, which includes HRH Prince of Wales, Britain & Ireland’s Next Top Model, Make A Wish Foundation and beyond. Currently fronting The Time Frequency, she has delivered powerhouse vocals and performances at their sold out show at the O2 Academy, Glasgow and as the headline act at Stereofunk Festival. Q LIVE NOVEMBER 2017 Rosalee (7 piece) Saturday 4th November // 23:00-00:20 Rosalee is a powerful and dynamic pop and rock vocalist who has toured with the likes of Jools Holland, Deacon Blue, Kylie Minogue, Status Quo, Chicane, Ash, and Brit Floyd. Possessing the originality of an artist and the strength of a session vocalist, both live and in live studios, Rosalee has become a well-known figure on the London music scene. Rosalee and her band have a wealth of experience in both intimate parties and large-scale events, most recently performing on the main stage at Twickenham for the Rugby World Cup 2015. The band perform a wide range of repertoire from upbeat chart hits to rock classics. The band can be scaled to size in accordance with the nature of the event. Q LIVE NOVEMBER 2017 DJ Belle Saturday 4th November // 00:20-03:00 Originating from Puerto Rico, DJ Belle clearly brings a Latin spirit while always keeping an uplifting feel good vibe. After 7 years of DJing between London, Ibiza, France, New York & Puerto Rico, DJ Belle’s eclectic style means she can easily perform to any audience. Her sets include anything from disco, house, soul/funk, R&B, hip-hop, 70s, 80s, 90s, Latin and raggaeton to current commercial tracks. Since 2011, DJ Belle has played at some of the most coveted and respected venues and promoters. In 2017 she played for the opening party for Ritual, a series of rooftop daytime parties at Madison featuring acts such as WaFF, Patrick Topping, Noir, Solardo, Sascha, Darious Syrossian and more. Sartorially stylish and musically classy, his interpretations of the American Songbook are internationally renowned. Atila takes influence from legends like Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin, and his incredible vocal range can cover everything from Gerschwin to Sammy Davis Jr. The late jazz legend Sir John Dankworth predicted “a very bright future with the possibility of Atila’s name eventually ending up in lights.” Q LIVE NOVEMBER 2017 DJ James Thursday 9th November // 22:30-01:00 DJ James’ music taste and knowledge is vast, eclectic & commercial, enabling him to tailor each set list to the crowd and venue. Although trained in classical piano, her influences range from soul jazz, to old school hip hop, garage, bass, 90’s tech and deep house. Q LIVE NOVEMBER 2017 Georgia & the V. Youth Saturday 11th November // 21:00-23:00 Georgia is fast emerging as one of London's brightest up and coming young artists. Compared to the late Amy Winehouse and Paloma Faith, Georgia performs both in the UK and internationally, often accompanied by Jools Hollands’ bassist. Georgia has featured on ‘Janice Loves’, part of Janice Long’s Radio 2 #aftermidnight show. She has also been played on BBC Radio London’s Gary Crowley Show and the Mark Forrest Show. Interviewed by Dan Roberts of BBC Radio London and Mark Forrest, Georgia has performed live at The Hampton Court Flower Show filmed by the BBC and also with her full band at The Scoop London Bridge for BBC Introducing. As a 3-piece the band are original and electrifying, extending to a full band complete with horn section. Q LIVE NOVEMBER 2017 Sounds of London Saturday 11th November // 23:00-00:20 Sounds of London’s member have an array of experience that share years of training at the Royal Academy of Music, Birmingham Conservatoire and Trinity School of Music. They have performed with the likes of Elton John, Alexandra Burke, Jacqui Dankworth, Anita Dobson, Kerry Ellis and The BBC Concert Orchestra. You may also have caight some of them on stage in the West End and around the UK in productions such as Motown the Musical, Sister Act, Hairspray, Guys and Dolls and Saturday Night Fever.
