LONG BEACH STATE LOOKING AT LBSU Long Beach State opens the 2008-09 season at BYU on Friday after finishing last season with a 6-25 overall record. The 49ers return six players from 2007-08 that averaged 4.4 points or more per game including Overall Series Record: Long Beach State leads 4-4 last season’s leading scorer Donovan Morris. Morris averaged 21.2 points per game while also leading BYU Record in Provo: 3-1 the team in rebounds per game (5.2).
