List of IFLA Standards Status: May 2014 This list of IFLA Standards has been compiled for the IFLA Committee on Standards which was formed by the IFLA Governing Board and started its activities in January 2012. The list will be used as a basis for the Committee’s work which will start with the defining of IFLA standards, before going on to review their currency, coordinate their maintenance and development, promote them, and otherwise coordinate activities associated with the IFLA standards so defined. The list was originally compiled in 2011 by Patrice Landry using IFLA’s professional units’ web pages, the IFLA website (publications, guidelines), and from the following sources: First, do no Harm: A register of Standards, Codes of Practice, Guidelines Recommendations and Similar Works relating to preservation and Conservation in Libraries and Archives.
