Five of the seven Councillors are newly elected and all Councillors are eager to make decisions that will continue to enhance our Town. In addition to the many new residential buildings constructed in 2012, it is encouraging to see a number of new business operations open in Rothesay. Most of these establishments are in the Marr Road/Hampton Road area. Business owners have worked with our Planning and Development Services department and the premises are attractive and functional. Citizens are encouraged to patronize local businesses as much as possible. It should be noted that Rothesay contains the highest concentration of commercial and service sector estab- lishments in the Kennebecasis Valley and it is therefore imperative that the Town pays attention
