She has completed two tertiary degrees - Murphy and she toured Australia as an original ensemble Bachelor of Arts (Media & Communications) and a cast member of "Wicked", also covering the role of Bachelor of Dance/Bachelor of Education, both from Nessarose. Ellen grew up in New Zealand and started ballet UNSW and with Distinction. Since graduating, Shelley has lessons when she was 5 years old. She has attained her featured in television commercials for Samsung, KFC, ARAD letters for completing her advanced 2 work in Bonds and AMP, performed at numerous high profile classical ballet, her NZAMD solo seal diploma in modern events such as the ARIA Awards Nights and with jazz and was awarded the NZAMD National Jazz Dancing Melbourne-based contemporary dance company, Chunky Title and has since received various scholarships in all Move. Thomas’ later training was at the VCA Secondary School (2008) on a full scholarship, and the NZ School of Dance (2009-2011). While at VCASS he performed with the Melbourne Ballet Company, Altona City Theatre production of CATS (7 month period) and placed third at the Australian Choreographic Competition. In 2010 Thomas took his solo Manipulated Living to Tempo, New Zealand Festival of Dance where he was nominated for ‘Best Choreography by an Emerging Artist’, ‘Most Inspiring Performance’ and won ‘Best Performance by an Emerging Male Artist’. Thomas also featured as a soloist in the 2010 NZSD Graduation Season performing an excerpt of Michael Parmenter’s Rhapsodysolo. Thomas returned to Tempo in 2011 with a new solo Seam, and an excerpt of his piece Shepherd, from NZSD Choreographic Season. In his final year at the NZSD, Thomas spent a short period with Australian Dance Theatre (Adelaide) performing excerpts of Be Your Self.
