McClure Craftsmanship Award and the Bernard B. Barber Jr. Award for Excellence About the Awards he McClure Craftsmanship Award honors exceptional Tcraftsmanship and/or installation of architectural millwork by a Woodwork Institute Affiliate. Awards date back to 1994. In 2003, the program eliminated the separate awards classifications such as installation, wood cabinetry and overall millwork, and instead began recognizing up to three finalists each year and selecting the top project for the award. Any Woodwork Institute Accredited Millwork Company or employee may make a submittal, and the project specifications must require Certified or Monitored Compliance. The Barber Award for Excellence honors design professionals for projects in which the interior or exterior architectural millwork is a predominant feature. Interior or exterior areas are eligible; awards are not limited to any specific category of building or any specific areas within the structure. Applications may be submitted by any design professional or Woodwork Institute Affiliate that was contractually tied to the project; however, project specifications must require Certified or Monitored Compliance. 4 Archetype | FALL 2016 The clinic consists of approximately 48,000 square feet on the double award-wining clinic. of medical office and 12,000 square feet of ambulatory “Boulder Associates Architects are well-organized, forward- surgery center constructed within two new “shell” thinking, and they have a lot of good experience,” Reeves buildings on a single medical office campus, according said. “They are realistic in their design, and they had a great to Boulder Associates Architects.
