ANTHONY PATERAS - sound artist Influences Charlie Parker Furthermore, every advance in the aesthetics of improvisation - whether Eric Dolphy evolutionary or revolutionary has required an equal reconsideration of the music's Thelonius Monk performative identity. This has manifested itself in various ways partially due to the Wayne Shorter simultaneous struggle for democratic, social, and civil rights. Contemporary Art Cecil Taylor improvisers seek to loosen the shackles of the performer to allow them additional Miles Davis freedom to determine the development, details, or shape of a given improvisation. Sun Ra Lee Konitz Carrying the reconsideration of the roles of the improviser, performer, and Steve Lacy audience further, THE MUTE CANARY PROJECT through its collective based, non- Albert Ayler exclusive, self-funded, workshop and research focused philosophy allows their John Zorn music-art practice to develop and emerge as a new style of Australian Improvised Tim Berne Contemporary Music practice.
