Stat. § 573.02, subd. 1. Negligence . Contract Professional Negligence Resulting in Death: 3 years from the date of death. Minn. Stat. § 573.02, . UIM/UM Claims subd. 1. Government Entities . Statute of Repose Contract: 6 years. Minn. Stat. § 541.05, subd. 1 (1). Product Liability . Construction Uninsured Motorist: 6 years from the date of the accident. Weeks v. Am. Fam. Ins. Co., 580 N.W.2d 24 Warranties (Minn. 1998). Underinsured Motorist: 6 years. Does not run from the date of the accident, rather, from the date of the settlement or judgment against the tortfeasor.
