They have been restored according to the principals of bio-architecture, and decorated with family heirlooms, Sicilian ceramics and antique prints. There is a salone, or living room, created within what was once the granary. From here, you pass into a splendid garden set against hills covered with pines and eucalypti, with a large swimming pool (14m x 7m) and an area for barbeques. Cookery courses can also be organised here — we think the setting, on the olive and wine estate is ideal, and the pool and garden are perfect for relaxing and cooking off after lessons (and lunches!) WE THINK The masseria is ideal for extended families with children or groups of couples and singles — it is important to note that the twin beds in La Casina dei Fiori and La Casina delle Papere are of a design that means they cannot be made up as double beds.
