You can search for any part word, word or phrase. Hint: Take care with spelling and if in doubt use part words, ie, search for "kero" rather than "kerosine", which can be spelt two ways. Hints and tips: Self-explanatory. Interview: Self-explanatory. Locomotivery: Pertaining to the modelling of locomotives. Operation: Articles on running a model railway or on how the real railway is run. Perspective: Proposals and personal opinion. Photo: Self-explanatory. Plan and photos: Prototype info suitable for basing a model on. Plan, text and photos: Comprehensive prototype info suitable for basing a model on. Prototype: Information about the real railway including how it is or was operated. Rail history: Prototype information predominantly of interest as historical background. Report: A (usually personal) account of a recent event of interest to modellers. Review: Self-explanatory. Road vehicles: Includes diecast models as well as scratch or kitbuilt models. Scenicking: All forms of scenery including backscenes, water, roads, landform and land cover, rock faces, grass, scrub, flax and low ferns but not trees. Signalling: Understanding and modelling signals and signalling practice. Structures: Building, gates fences, etc, excluding bridges. Techniques: Ways of using materials and tools to make a model. Index to NZMR Journal - 2 - Tools: Aids to model building – includes implements and processes, marking and measuring equipment, charts, cameras, computers and computing, means of attaching parts to each other, eg, glues, solder, nuts and bolts, etc. Trams: Bush and urban and associated material. Trackwork: Track, pointwork, turntables, etc, on which trains run. Trees: Trees including tree ferns and cabbage trees. Wagon loads: Self-explanatory. Weathering: Self explanatory xx Diorama: Where xx is a scale ratio, eg, 1:64, indicates an article about a diorama (small scene) to that scale xx Layout: Where xx is a scale ratio, eg, 1:64, indicates an article about a layout to that scale.
