Fall 2021 As I write this in mid-July, there finally seems to be a sense of normalcy returning with regard to Park District programming. It’s encouraging to see our larger events (Fall Fest, Halloween Party and Festival of Lights) as well as our regular programs (Preschool Adventures, School’s Out!) return. We are grateful to you who have helped stop the spread of COVID-19 so we can return to our full slate of activities! I never thought I’d be more happy to say “Back to School!” but here we are. Check out some of these special event favorites returning this fall/winter. • Fishing Derby – September 14 at Lakeview Park • Fall Fest – October 8 at Circle Park • Halloween Party – October 23 at Village Hall • Festival of Lights and Kris Kringle Market – December 3 at Old Town Bloomingdale The Bloomingdale Park District continues to serve a vital role in the community by offering preschool, before- and after-school programming, and days- off-of-school activities. Some of these programs have changed over the past year, and we’ll continue to modify them as we adapt to ever-changing rules and guidelines.
