David and Jules [email protected] [email protected]. Crudwell Pre-School We have now finished our academic year, it was not the normal finish for our school leavers but it was still very special. The children enjoyed a mini sports day, graduation and disco. We wish them lots of love and luck on their new journey and we will miss them lots.! We are really looking forward to opening to all children in September, we have many children who were with us this year returning but also have many new faces. We cannot wait to learn, laugh and play together.! Our excellent team of Street Leaders continues to give support to vulnerable and at risk parishioners and lessons learned from the experience are helping to inform the Parish Emergency Plan.! The o$cial Crudwell Facebook page is now being administered with direct input from the Parish Council. While the site has now well over 700 members it is important that it remains focussed on Crudwell and the surrounding area. To this end a draft charter has been developed which will be reviewed by the Parish Council with the intention of ensuring that the site is appropriate and that members or advertisers have a connection with the Crudwell area.! Information from Wiltshire Council Wiltshire Libraries All Wiltshire libraries are currently closed. We're making plans to reopen some of our library services safely in phases during the COVID-19 pandemic. Trowbridge Library will reopen on Monday 3 August and Chippenham and Salisbury libraries will reopen on Tuesday 4 August. For the latest service updates and health advice, please visit the COVID-19 page.! Please note libraries are closed on bank holidays and opening times may vary between Christmas and New Year and at Easter. Further details can be found on the libraries news page.! Peter Gilchriest, Chair, Crudwell Parish Council "4 Crudwell Neighbourhood Plan Update 31 July 2020 Wiltshire Council’s final consultation (called Reg 16) on the Crudwell Neighbourhood Plan on the 29th closes at 5pm on Friday the 24th August 2020. The Neighbourhood Plan document set is available for you to access on the internet, or by printed copy from Wiltshire Council if you do not have internet access.! Please ensure that you make any representations which you wish to by that date. The plan, when made, will allow us in Crudwell to determine the pace and scale of future developments and to influence their location, design and a%ordability. Without a made Plan Wiltshire Council might permit extra housing in Crudwell to fix a land supply problem. This is much less likely once we have a made Plan or indeed the closer we get to this.! How to submit your comments Once you have viewed the Plan, any comments need to be sent to Wiltshire Council by emailing [email protected] or you can leave your comments on Wiltshire Council’s consultation portal here: https://consult.wiltshire.gov.uk/portal/ .! A form and paid reply envelope can be provided by contacting Wiltshire Council by email or calling the numbers above.! A flyer from the Steering Group giving a brief overview of the main plan policies including the housing site allocation is available on the internet at my-Crudwell.org and copies are available for those not on the internet via your Street Leaders or from the Post O$ce.! We are planning to hold a question and answer session in the parish allotments between 11am and 12:30pm on Saturday the 8th August. While this event is primarily being held at the request of Tuners Lane residents others may be able to attend. If you wish to do so and do not live in the Tuners Lane locality please email us at [email protected] in order that we can prioritise attendance and comply with social distancing requirements. We are also considering a second event in late August if demand is su$cient. Details of this and how to attend will be published on our website www.my-crudwell.org and via our NP mailing list.
