How to get to Leipzig, if you arrive at Berlin Schönefeld Airport and want to take a train: The best connection to Leipzig Hauptbahnhof (main station): • Take the Regionalbahn (RB) from Berlin Schönefeld Flughafen (airport) to Berlin Hauptbahnhof (main station). The first train leaves at 06:55 on track 4, and runs hourly until 20:55 from the same track. Please be aware that there is no train leaving at 21:55. The last train leaves at 22:55. The train ride to Berlin main station will take approximately 30 minutes. • At Berlin Hauptbahnhof, take the Intercity-Express (ICE) to Leipzig Hauptbahnhof leaving either on track 1 or 2. Please be aware that when you leave Berlin Schönefeld at 20:55 or 22:55, the train from Berlin Hauptbahnhof to Leipzig Hauptbahnhof will be an Intercity (IC). The train ride to Leipzig Hauptbahnhof takes approximately 1:15h. How to get to Leipzig, if you arrive at Berlin Tegel Airport and want to take a train: The best connection to Leipzig Hauptbahnhof (main station): • Take the bus TXL to Berlin Hauptbahnhof (main station) (Bus Direction: S+U Alexanderplatz). The bus ride to Berlin Hauptbahnhof will take approximately 20 minutes. • At Berlin Hauptbahnhof take the Intercity-Express (ICE) to Leipzig Hauptbahnhof leaving either on track 1 or 2. The train ride to Leipzig Hauptbahnhof will take approximately 1:15h. • The first bus on Sunday, March 21, 2010 leaves Berlin Tegel airport at 06:18. • The last bus on Sunday, March 21, 2010 leaves Berlin Tegel airport at 21:27. The train ride to Leipzig main station will take approximately 3:45h. • The first ICE on Sunday, March 21, 2010 leaves in Frankfurt at 09:01 from track Fern 4 (long distance 4). • The last ICE on Sunday, March 21, 2010 leaves in Frankfurt at 21:02 from track Fern 4 (long distance 4). How to get from Leipzig/Halle Airport to Leipzig Hauptbahnhof (main station): • You can either take the Intercity (IC), the Regionalexpress (RE), or the Mitteldeutsche Regiobahn (MRB).
