Participation Packages for Schools & Charities ZooNation: The Kate Prince Company Ground -breaking storytellers using original music and dance to inspire the next generation of theatregoers and makers. We create productions that are witty, innovative, relevant and entertaining . We believe theatre should inspire, empower and motivate younger people and seek to create memorable, unique and life affirming learning experiences for and with participants. We offer a wide range of bespoke educational workshops and commissions that can be linked to a specific production, can focus on a specific style of Hip Hop culture or give a general insight into Zonation’s unique style and work. 2 Our Offer Workshops We offer a wi de range of workshops to meet all levels of experience. Working with partners we can create and deliver workshops that: • cover d ance styles that originate from Hip Hop Culture including Breakin’, House, Groove, Waacking, Krump, Nu Wave, and the funk styles of Popping and Lockin g • are linked to one of our main production such as ‘Some Like It Hip Hop’ (2019) or ‘Into The Hoods: Remixed’ (2016) Prices: Half day workshop : from £250* Consisting of 2-3 hours of activity. Full day workshop : from £350* Consisting of 4-5 hours of activity. Performance projects We enjoy working with groups for longer periods of time, developing skills and confidence and working towards a short perform ance or sharing with an invited audience. We offer two options for longer term skills and performance: • Recreating ZooNation Youth Company shows (Groove on Down the Road or Tales of the Turntable) with a cast of local young people. • Longer term regular skills development working with groups to create a short piece or sharing for an invited audience Prices: Week long projects: from £1,200* Bespoke offer involving the creation of a short piece for a sharing /performance. After school club dance project: ten weeks from £1200* Weekly workshops lasting one hour delivered across either a half or full term, with participants working towards the creation of a short informal performance. Recreate ZooNation Youth Company Productions with local young people: Price available upon request. Opportunity to be involved in a recreation of a full -length ZooNation Youth Company production (45 mins) led by a ZooNation artist for presentation at a studio theatre space. *Prices excludes VAT and for workshops outside of London additional costs may be chargeable (travel, accommodation and living costs) 3 Professional development & performances We offer professional development opportunities for artists and teachers who want to improve and diversify their skills. We also arrange performances by ZooNation Youth Company (ZYC) for a variety of events, functions and celebrations. Prices: Professional development: from £100 per hour* This could include Teachers INSET, Artist training and development, mentoring and consultation on dance and the school curriculum. ZYC Performances: Available upon request. Performances that will inspire, excite and stimulate your audience by ZYC, our group of elite young performers who embody the spirit of ZooNation. Workshop Teachers: Workshop teachers are the best within the industry, all are working professionally as dancers and choreographers. All teachers complete regular training with the company to prepare them for their teaching work and all company teachers have a recent DBS check.
