Cllr J Stilts declared a non-pecuniary interest in Minute items 137.a.5 & 137.a.6 as she is acquainted with the applicant, Minute item 137.b.9 as the applicant is related to a former Mayor and Minute item 137.a.1a as she is president of the Carnival Association who had previously owned the land.. Cllr T Shrimpton declared a non-pecuniary interest in Minute items 137.a.5 & 137.a.6 as he knows the applicant through the salt collection scheme and Minute item 137.b.9 as the applicant is related to a former Mayor. Cllr M Harvey declared a non-pecuniary interest in Minute item 137.a.1a as he is acquainted with the applicant. Cllr F Shaughnessy declared a non-pecuniary interest in Minute items 137.a.5 & 137.a.6 due to her connection with the school through Maldon in Bloom. PLANNING APPLICATIONS a. Planning Applications for week ending 5th January, 2018 As there were two members of the public present for Agenda item 4.b.12. it was agreed to bring this item to the fore. Cllrs Hafiz, Harvey and Nunn declared a non-pecuniary interest in Minute item 137.a.1a as they are acquainted with the applicant. Cllr T Shrimpton was asked to call in this item as the site is in his ward. The two members of the public left the meeting at 7.42pm. 1b. FUL/MAL/17/01286 Maldon West Full Application Change of use of unregistered open land at rear of property to residential garden, by erection of 1.83m wooden closeboard fence and concrete kickboard incorporating gate to enclose the area.
