Nov 2017 - Present Behaviour Interactive Santiago - I worked as game designer at one of the biggest game development companies in South America. I designed and balanced the features and systems of the games I was assigned to, created documentation for both developers and clients, communicated and discussed ideas with multidisciplinary teams, participated in meetings with clients, worked with important brands, and prototyped new ideas for possible projects including mobile and nintendo switch games. Dec 2014 - Aug 2017 Behaviour Interactive Montreal - I was sent to Behaviour's Montreal studio to work on a challenging project that needed a fresh design and new ideas. During this secondment I quickly and successfully adapted to the Canadian culture, and working with people from different countries and languages. Secondment Jan-Apr 2017 Ser Juegos - I worked as game programmer and game designer in this start up of less than 10 people. We used Unity3D for most of the projects. I created several prototypes for this company and designed and programmed, alone, one of the few projects that were released. Jan-Jul 2014 Coordinator of USM Games - At Federico Santa María University. USM Games is a student organization focused on learning and teaching game development to all interested students. I was elected to lead USM Games for two consecutive years, coordinating development teams, organizing activities such as game jams, giving talks and promoting the chilean game developing industry. Jan 2011 - Dec 2012 Member of USM Games - Active member of the organization where I worked in several collaborative prototypes and game jams. This organization was the first of its kind in Chile. Mar 2009 - Dec 2013 Projects Operate Now: Hospital - Joined as a game design for the holidays update, the biggest to date the game has received. I worked on definition and documentation of new features, generating content such as missions and surgeries, and supported the whole team on various smaller tasks. Behaviour Interactive, May-Aug 2017. Geminose - Game designer for a mobile game that included music, decoration, collectables and adorable creatures. Cops - On Patrol - Game designer of an exhilarating police game where you race in the pursuit of criminals in wild car chases full of action and danger. Street World Cup 2014 - I was the only designer and programmer in this football mini-game for android, inspired by the idea of fans playing outside the football stadium during the 2014 World cup. Ser Juegos, May-Jun 2014. Paranoid Pirate - Designer and programmer of a last stand mini-game participating in the Square Enix Latin American contest. May-Sept 2012. Cachipong - Game designer for a game mixing pong with rock, paper, scissors for android, winning first place for best idea and third place for best application in the Cursorlab contest in Santiago de Chile. VideoGames Extreme Workshop, Core Organization - The first of the two biggest national game jams, organized by USM Games and Videogames Chile, with hundreds of assistants and international guests. Apr-Jul 2011 - Apr-Jul 2012. PiMoDe - Team leader and designer of a webcam controlled shooter video game. Players can control a futuristic aircraft and shoot without the need for physical controllers, similar to the Kinect but using a common webcam. Mar - Nov 2010.
