The competition recognizes the most innovative projects across the country. VALBIOTIS was awarded this prize based on its product VAL-63, an exclusive solution for the prevention of type 2 diabetes. The national competition was first launched in 1999 by the French Ministry of Research and helps to build innovative technology companies. Its objective is to help build and support the most promising start-ups by offering them funding and tailored support. VALBIOTIS is a biotechnology research and development company that creates safe and effective nutraceutical products in line with the highest scientific regulatory standards in the world. Its expertise rests primarily in the prevention of chronic illnesses, particularly cardio-metabolic disorders. VALBIOTIS benefits from a complete technology platform, provided through its partnership with La Rochelle University, Blaise Pascal University in Clermont- Ferrand, and CNRS.
