FRANCE Alphonse Mellot As far back as the XVI century the local records mention the Mellot family, whose life was governed by the seasons of the vine and the production of wines of excellent quality. Today, this century old winemaking tradition is perpetuated by Alphonse Mellot, father and son, the 18th and 19th to bear the name. The wines are produced from the upper Sancerre vineyard, the most famous of which is the “Domaine la Moussière”. Champagne Deutz Founded in 1838, Champagne Deutz is one of the oldest members of the prestigious Union de Maisons de Champagne. They source from over 490 acres of the finest Crus to craft a Champagne of distinctive style with perfect finesse, elegance, and harmony of flavors. ITALY Le Colture The Ruggeri Family, residents of the Veneto region since the 15th Century, produces exceptional Prosecco from their estate vineyards in the DOCG areas of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene. With a focus on handmade quality, their offerings are a cut above many of the mass produced offerings on the market. Mastrojanni Mastrojanni has been writing history with its wines since 1975, earning international acclaim from top publications like Wine Spectator and the Wine Advocate. Today they have become one of the most respected Montalcino producers in Italy, making wines with personality, individuality and elegance. Rocche Costamagna This emerging Barolo producer is quickly earning the attention of the international wine press. The winery sits directly atop the city wall of La Morra, the highest point in Barolo, with vineyards stretching down the hillside toward the valley below. Owner and winemaker Alessandro Locatelli is creating exquisitely made wines in the traditional style of the Piemonte region. San Fabiano Calcinaia Located in the historic Castellina region of Chianti, San Fabiano Winery is housed within a restored medieval hamlet that dates back to 1000 A.D. The organically farmed grapes produce wines of exceptional quality, with their single vineyard Cellole and Super Tuscan Cerviolo Rosso consistently earning high praise. SLOVENIA Verus Founded by three young partners, Verus is producing some of the most exciting wines in Slovenia. The winery is located in the Jerusalem Hills not far from Austria. Recently awarded top reviews by Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate, they have earned a reputation for making exceptional Riesling and Furmint, an indigenous varietal. SPAIN Bodegas Emilio Moro The winery is located in Pesquera de Duero, a village in the heart of the Ribera del Duero region, situated in an area known as “The Golden Mile”. Innovation is one of the core values for the Emilio Moro family, with a Research and Innovation department that collaborates with several colleges in Spain to perfect processes and make wines unique. iii Brands to look out for Chalk Hill Perhaps no other winery captures the casual luxury of Sonoma County better than Chalk Hill Estate. Founded nearly four decades ago, this spectacular 1300-acre property features 300 acres of vineyards, wilderness areas, winery, hospitality center, culinary garden, residence, stables, equestrian pavilion, sports fields, fishing and swimming ponds, and guest houses. The winery’s vineyards are thoughtfully woven through the native foliage and contoured to fit the intricate terrain. More than two-thirds of the Chalk Hill Estate remains uncultivated. The higher elevations offer stunning views of the Russian River Valley to the west and the Mayacamas Mountains to the east. Western Son Vodka & Caned Cocktails Western Son Vodka is about more than simply what comes in our bottle; it’s a celebration of the adventurous spirit of the Western Mindset. We connect with independent thinkers and trailblazers alike, always searching for what’s around the next bend. To capture that spirit we are setting out on the Western Son Seeker Tour, an adventure that will take you on the road with us in search of people and places we connect with along the way. We hope to share their stories as well as the most beautiful sunsets we can find. B.R. Cohn Nestled between Sonoma Mountain and the Mayacamas Mountain range in Sonoma Valley, B.R. Cohn Winery was founded by Bruce Cohn, long time manager of rock-n-roll legends, The Doobie Brothers. The winery opened its doors in 1984 and ever since, the quality of the wines is a direct reflection of the quality of its vineyards. Notable amongst their vineyards is the Olive Hill Estate, named for the nearly five-hundred 160-year old olive trees on the estate. B.R. Cohn offers an inviting and relaxed environment to discover its selection of small lot, vineyard designated wines. iv Brands to look out for Horse Soldier Bourbon Whiskey Days after 9/11, the USA responded with a daring insertion of small teams of Green Berets mounted on horseback. These brave men are honored today by the America’s Response Monument at Ground Zero.
