Mr. Jhilam Ray Jhilam Ray teaches Economics at the University of Burdwan, West Bengal. He completed his graduation and Post-graduation from Jadavpur University, Kolkata and is pursuing his PhD on Intergenerational Mobility in India. He has written on issues related to Social Discrimination, Intergenerational Mobility, and Agricultural Development. His works have been published in Indian Journal of Labour Economics, Environment & Ecology as also in edited volumes. He has also co-authored chapters in several District Present Designation: working as Assistant Professor at Dept of Economics, Burdwan University since 15th February 2008 till date. Worked as Assistant Professor in Economics at Dept of Agricultural Economics, Uttar Banga Krishi Viswavidyalaya, Cooch behar from December 2001 to 14 February 2008.
