Greetings from the Executive Director Volunteers Make Our Events Incredible! I was lucky enough to be able to help out at this year’s Elvis beach party event on July 27. What a fun night it was! One of our guests told me it’s her special time once a year to “let her hair down and have some fun.” We want you all to be able to come in and have some fun like this every day…so thank you for being a part of the Center. Our incredible volunteers who made the night possible are Bianca Thomka who created an atmosphere of beach party wonderment with her decorations, Jan Fisher was our amazing guest chef for the evening, Lora Radford was our star bartender, Andy Kromm washed loads and loads of dishes, Chris Ilovar provided superb kitchen assistance, Mary Boykin was our fabulous cocktail waitress, Gail Ann took some great photos and last but certainly not least, Allison Welch and Jack Bitzer did everything from set-up and sign-in to serving and cleaning up. It takes only one person to make a difference in the lives of others, and we are so grateful to each you for making the event a great success! We can’t do what we do without you! If you’d like to volunteer, please contact Sara Hansen-Andreu at the front desk or [email protected] West Seattle Big Band to Perform at the Center!
