San Manuel Indian Nation, Calif. – March 9, 2012 – Thursday, April 12, 2012, San Manuel Indian Bingo & Casino welcomes the return of Don Rickles, and for the first time to the San Manuel stage, internationally renowned comedienne, Joan Rivers. Tickets are on sale today and available at Ticketmaster.com and the San Manuel Box Office for $45 and $55. Don Rickles For almost 55 years Don Rickles, with his “insult” style of comedy, has appeared in top showrooms in Atlantic City and Las Vegas, as well as concert halls throughout the U.S. and internationally. He is considered one of the world’s top entertainers. Rickles has made frequent TV talk-show appearances with hosts such as Johnny Carson, Jay Leno, David Letterman, and Regis Philbin. In 2007, he starred in the John Landis-directed documentary, “Mr. Warmth: The Don Rickles Project”, which earned him an Emmy nomination. Along with his success in standup comedy, Rickles has made his mark in motion pictures. He had roles in the cult classic “Kelly’s Heroes”, “Rat Race”, and “Casino”. In addition, he was the voice of Mr. Potato Head in the animated films “Toy Story 1” and “Toy Story 2”. In 1984, Rickles was invited by President Reagan to perform at the televised Inaugural Ball, in which he didn’t hold back on his comedic performance and “zinged” the President and the Vice President, among others. Joan Rivers Like Don Rickles, Joan Rivers can stake claim to a successful entertainment career spanning over four decades, and attributes her appearance on “The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson” with her career skyrocketing from cabaret shows to her own talk show, “That Show with Joan Rivers.” With more talk show success, Rivers launched a jewelry collection on QVC in 1990. This allowed her to tap into the fashion world, later landing her currently gig on “Fashion Police” on E! Entertainment. Not only a comedienne and fashion laureate, Rivers is a best-selling author of two books, reality-show star appearing on “The Celebrity Apprentice” and “Joan and Melissa: Joan Knows Best?” both alongside her daughter Melissa Rivers. Every Thursday night with headliner entertainment, San Manuel gives away $1,000 just for seeing the show. To be eligible to win, guests only need a ticket to the show, a Club Serrano card and to be 21 or older. Guests can enter beginning at noon on such days.
