WINE FACT SHEET WINE: Welschriesling PRODUCER: Vinařství Volařík Winemaker Notes The grapes were hand harvested from the Purmice Vineyard and carefully selected in the third week of November. Gentle pressing was followed by 12 hours of maceration. The wine was fermented at a controlled temperature of 16 degrees Celsius and bâtonnage is gently performed at 6 months. The wine was then aged in the bottle for at least 3 months. Tasting Notes The wine displays a golden‐yellow color with amber reflections. On the nose the Welschriesling from this vineyard has a minerally‐metal aroma with the hint of rusty nails. The flavor exhibits the traditional minerality of this wine on the palate as well as intensive metal. Suggested Pairings Enjoy with a Caesar salad with croutons and capers or shellfish such as crab. This wine also may easily be enjoyed alone. This wine should be served at between 53‐57 degrees Fahrenheit Details and can be stored for up to 6 years.
