MAY The Shriek 2016 GREEETINGS NOBLES AND LADIES. By the time this Shriek is published and If you consider the dark period of 2 months in July and August we are not far from this year being 2/3 over. There will be a huge crowd in Pigeon Forge this year, as well as a demanding parade season. The Imperial Session is coming up. The last 4 months of 2016 will be even busier Another Ceremonial, Family Picnic, Car and Bike, and more along with Halloween Festivities, followed by more Holiday Festivities. The Motorcycle Raffle will be at its peak demand needing nobles to sell and purchase tickets prior to the final drawing at the yearend Christmas Party. A Bengal Bash and a Dance of some type are being discussed. Please pay Special Attention to the Paper Crusade this year. Tony Bowling has stepped up to make it happen. Let’s get it back where it used to be. Thank you Tony!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We have a great year going so far in 2016. I want to thank all those that have worked so hard and contributed to our success thus far. A tremendous amount of energy has been expelled doing the things we do. And the need to do more is obvious. That brings me to mentioning the 37 new nobles that came in in 2015 and the 25 or so that have joined us so far in 2016. We need your help!!!!! YOU obviously joined to be active in some way!!!!!! The 2015 ceremonial was in November; The 2016 ceremonial is in June of 2016. So we have 60 plus new nobles that need to be involved. Some of you have already joined units, clubs, and committees. Those of you that haven’t we need you to get involved. The last 4 months of this year are jammed with needed fundraising efforts along with some complimentary efforts at no charge such as our Halloween Festivities, Kids Christmas Party, and Circus 2017 Kickoff Party. Again I am asking the new 2015 and 2016 Nobles to get involved. 1) Come to the temple business meetings. 2) Read the Temple Publications the Shriek and the Internet Blast 3) Step-up and purchase tickets at fundraisers, raffles and events. 4) Participate in the complimentary efforts by helping with all the serving and cleanup that has to be done. More than that bring your families and friends. 5) If you have Questions don’t hesitate to ask any member of the temple management Potentate, Recorder, Treasurer, Divan Members, Trustees. Stop at the office and obtain a calendar book all of our phone numbers and contact information are in that book. 6) In particular talk to the Unit Directors, Club presidents, Committee Chairmen and Co Chairmen. 7) Reach Back, Dig in and Step up One More Time. ITS FUN TO DO! IT IS ALSO A REWARDING EXPERIENCE!!!!!! We are all aware that the Building at the Shrine center is maxed out as well as our parking facilities. Please attend all the meetings as the 2016 year comes to a successful close. There is going to be a lot going on we need the Noble Impute and Participation. PLEASE READ THIS If Hospital Awareness or lack of has been an issue with any new noble or even nobles that have been with us a while we have Hospital Awareness and Involvement avenues for you to satisfy your interests.
