Coming southbound from Horsham towards Coneyhurst it is practically invisible until you are right on top of it. Last Tuesday I hit it in a small car – a Ford – and broke both tyres on the left side of the car. I was travelling at around 35 mph at the time. The pothole is at least 200mm deep and has near vertical sides so the tyres stood no chance.
