January 2000 – Pyro & Ballyhoo Edition GAMEPLAY SUGGESTIONS

January 2000 – Pyro & Ballyhoo Edition TEW 2013 Mod Notes: I did my best to make sure all of the rosters, at least on-screen talent wise are all correct for the WWF, WCW and ECW. WCW in particular I even included the lineup of The Nitro Girls – giving the option to run angles with them (sex appeal based angles give a good easy rating). If you look through the data and think of anyone you can't find or need let me know and I can put together some data for you to import into the mod. If you need a good site to go back and read December 1999's results and give you a good idea where January picks up at – www.ddtdigest.com is a great site that even includes some screen caps. (There is humorous/personal opinions in the write ups) Here are the 1999 results: http://ddtdigest.com/updates/home1999.htm GAMEPLAY SUGGESTIONS When setting up the game for the project I'd recommend the following. Turn off all of the game areas except for the US Create a (1) Player Game Choose Vince Russo as your user character Set Reputation to Greatest Under “User Talents” choose preset type “Creative Leader” or “Ideas Man” Under “Preferences,” uncheck Fog of War, uncheck Owner Goals, uncheck Perfect Show Theory, uncheck penalties for repetitive booking (this will give you more freedom in booking) Choose WCW and Select (Owner) – this will prevent the company from firing you, or having weird changes of ownership during a game. DEVELOPMENTAL AND POWER PLANT TALENTS NWA Wildside is set up pretty much for use as a “Developmental” organization similar to how WWE has used NXT/OVW/FCW. While not exactly historically accurate, they did have sort of a working relationship, and it gives a good place in the game to hold young talents who hadn't made their official debuts or guys who are waiting for another shot at TV. Here is the list of talent waiting in Wildside under developmental deals. Some of the Power Plant guys had been competing on the WCW Saturday Night show – so if you'd like to book that show with them just call them up. 4x4 (Previously of the No Limit Soldiers, hadn't yet returned as Cassius of Harlem Heat 2000) Alan Funk/Kwee Wee (had been competing on Saturday Night as Alan Funk) April Hunter (hired as one of the NWO Girls, hadn't yet debuted on screen) Big T/Ahmed Johnson (recently signed, hadn't yet debuted on screen as Big T of Harlem Heat 2000) Chuck Palumbo (had been competing on Saturday Night under the names Jungle Jim and Chuck Palumbo) Jamie Knoble (hadn't debuted on screen yet) Jeremy Lopez (hadn't debuted on screen yet) Kid Romeo (had been competing on Saturday Night) Mark Jindrak (had been competing on Saturday Night) Midajah (hired as one of the NWO Girls, hadn't yet debuted on screen) Mike Sanders (had been competing on Saturday Night) Pamela Paulshock (hired as one of the NWO Girls, hadn't yet debuted on screen) Rick Cornell/Reno (had been competing on Saturday Night as Rick Cornell) Shakira (hired as one of the NWO Girls, hadn't yet debuted on screen) Shark Boy (had been competing on Saturday Night) Skip Over/Elix Skipper (had been competing on Saturday Night) Sonny Siaki (had been competing on Saturday Night) Tylene Buck/Major Gunns (hired as one of the NWO Girls, hadn't yet debuted on screen) Yun Yang (hadn't yet debuted on screen) If you need any help with anything feel free to ask. Hope you enjoy the mod..
