Attire for Mass Attendance As the weather continues to warm it is clear that Summer is in full swing, so we wanted to be sure to remind all our parishioners about what is considered appropriate attire for Mass. Out of respect for our Lord and for the edification of our neighbors, we beg that men and women, boys and girls, appear modestly and respectfully dressed when attending Mass as well as at all times while here at St. Peter’s. Shorts, tanktops, lowcut or backless garments, minidresses, halter tops, spaghetti straps, bared midriffs, short skirts, tightfitting clothes, etc. do not meet the norm of Christian modesty or of respect, especially in church.
