It allows me to engage with my community, ask for needs, exercise(ruck) and get right in my head when the “home office” is cramped. The AOs are officially closed to support our community leaders and slow the spread, but F3 fitness goes on. Big T Claps to Flo and Saigon Sam for kicking off JAX Zoom workouts and all those who have stepped up to Q and to post. Great to see PAX from across our region getting after it together. T CLAPS THE GET RIGHT PAGE 03 Completely Stupid and Utterly Pointless T CLAPS The first Annual F3 JAX endurance challenge CSAUP went down on January 18th, 2020 as Aquaman released the Kraken. Nearly 60 PAX from every JAX AO completed the event through varioPuHsO TmO eB Ya nMsA RoTfI Nl oRc. oS MmI ToHtion including rucking, running and biking from JAX Beach to Mickler’s Landing and back (~16.5 miles). The event promoted F3 JAX's mission to plant, grow and serve small workout groups for the invigoration of male community leadership. And over $1300 was raised for the Trinity Rescue Mission. Trinity's mission is to meet the physical, material, and spiritual needs of the over 1,800 homeless men, women, and children in Northeast Florida with the love and compassion of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Thanks to the M’s and 2.0’s that came out to cheer and (wo)man the power stations. Huge T-Claps to Aquaman for being a HIM and making it happen. Be ready for next year. While the lake was slightly above waste level for some, it was chest deep for others (including YHC). Of course, one of the best, and worst, moments at Boondocks thus far had to have been P H O T O B Y M A R T I N R . S M I T H being heckled by a 7 or 8-year-old kid sitting at the top of the jungle gym dome. I encourage all PAXof F3JAX to check us out at Boondocks. While you never know what part of the While Boondocks may be one of the park we will be using each Saturday, you youngest AOs in F3 Jacksonville (coming up can almost guarantee there’s a good on 2 years in June), it has a lot to offer, chance there will be “Fixit” burpees! especially in terms of real estate. In the past year, the Pax of Boondocks have developed into HIMs. They’re not just stepping up to Q, but they are pushing each other to come up with challenging beatdowns. Several of them (Doink and Extinguisher, I am talking about you- I do place myself in this category as well) call themselves non-runners but tend to incorporate a lot of running in their beatdowns. Doink has also stepped up to help on the IT side of things for F3JAX. Our very own Aquaman was the brainchild behind the first F3 Jacksonville CSAUP event- the Kraken! Then there’s Twister, the bad ass who had the gumption to bring F3 to Julington Creek Plantation Park.
