Works commenced in July 2016 The proposed extension of car park and Mui Wo Ferry Pier Road would be completed in February 2019. Based on the views collected from the public engagement activity held in March 2017, the review of the layout for the improvement works is nearly completed. The next round of public engagement exercise for consultation of the revised layout would be conducted after the consultation with Mui Wo Rural Committee and local Islands DC members later. The implementation programme is under review. Current Status The Consultants are preparing the preliminary environmental study and the preliminary engineering layouts. The initial stakeholder consultation with relevant stakeholders is being conducted and Islands District Council will be consulted at appropriate time. The project aims to reconstruct the Pak Kok Pier on 5051TF Reconstruction of Pak Under STH Second half of Second half of Lamma Island. Kok Pier on Lamma review 2019 2021 B CEDD Island Planning and design of the proposed works is in progress.
