CNN Worldwide, Known Win 2020 Promax Global Excellence Honors 12.15.2020 CNN Worldwide was named Marketing Team of the Year, while Known was named Agency of the Year at the Promax 2020 Global Excellence Awards, held virtually Tuesday at promax.org. Promax's Global Excellence Awards honor the best entertainment marketing from around the world, including show and brand campaigns, idents, motion graphics, animation and more. Former Warner Bros. marketing executive and former Promax board member Scott Rowe hosted the virtual ceremony. Other presenters included CNN's Rick Lewchuk and The Walt Disney Co. Europe and Africa's Nam Patel. CNN Worldwide was named Marketing Team of the Year for the sixth straight year, while Known, formerly Stun, last won this award in 2018.
