But hey! Who needs the sunshine when you have your latest copy of the magazine available to you! Okay, okay... only joking, though many of you do tell me how much they look forward to reading our pages. Line dancers everywhere rejoiced when they found out that ‘our’ Rachael was getting married to handsome Paul and Linedancer is proud to show the gorgeous couple off on our cover and in a fabulous spread. Thank you to them for making these sumptuous shots by Scott Tippler available to us. We visit Australia twice this month. Sue Jordan shares some very special memories and Chris Watson gives us a glimpse of Mayworth, an outstanding event with great pictures. We take you to Monaco where Claude tells us all about her class and her dancing. A little further in France Arnaud Lacot and his friends from Country Berry Association invite us to relive some of the highlights of their Non Stop event. Alan Birchall and Jacqui Jax then whisk us all the way to Canada in this decidedly ‘globetrotting’ issue of Linedancer. And while we are there we also get to join Vivienne Scott for her very own Canadian adventure. Closer to our UK home, Betty Drummond herself celebrates her club’s anniversary of 20 years of dancing. She recounts how it all started and how dance has always played such an important part in her life and still does for her and her club dancers. We also have the pleasure of regrouping with Grrowler and his crew for another one of the famous Boot Camps! We introduce you to Sasha and Sonia, two artists who are building bridges for music lovers on both sides of the Atlantic. We also have the pleasure of meeting Reba McEntire again for the release of her brand new album. PLUS all the monthly treats you are used to and of course the fabulous scripts that Kath has lovingly prepared. Enjoy the read and we will see you all next month. www.linedancerweb.com June 2015 • 3 dear dancers.indd 1 28/05/2015 11:26 Alison & Peter’s 25th Anniversary Party Saturday 24th September 2016 Not only is this going to be TICKETS a fantastic celebration of at The Oval Community Centre ALL INCLUSIVE Alison & Peter’s 25 years in The Oval, Stevenage, SG1 5RD 12noon – 11pm Line dancing but it will also only £25 including an be a major event to raise RAFFLE · SPOT PRIZES · MORE!
