First joint assessment under the Food Security & Livelihoods Cluster. No dedicated funding – pooled resources. WFP (KIIS), PIN, Caritas, NRC, ADRA, Dorcas, ACF and FAO as well as FSLC (with REACH support). Training of enumerators in Slovyansk PIN Office yesterday and data collection to start early June. GCA sample is 800 interviews (undertaken by all organisations) – representative at oblast level. NGCA sample is 1900 interviews (undertaken by WFP with KIIS) – representative at “cluster level”. Results expected in July. 3. BRIEF UPDATES: b) Contingency Planning – Summer Scenario The 2015 inter agency contingency plan scenario and situation analysis to be updated: ─ Military escalations over summer period ─ Power and water cuts (and subsequent knock on effects) ─ Chemical emergency (chlorine gas) ─ Possible outbreak of disease ─ Potential impact of blockade of RAF and of nationalisation of factories/mines. 3.
