COOK COUNTY BOARD ROOM, COUNTY BUILDING ____________________ Board met pursuant to law and pursuant to Resolution 11-R-26. OFFICIAL RECORD President Preckwinkle in the Chair. CALL TO ORDER At 10:00 A.M., being the hour appointed for the meeting, the President called the Board to order. QUORUM County Clerk David Orr called the roll of members and there was found to be a quorum present. ROLL CALL Present: President Preckwinkle and Commissioners Beavers, Butler, Collins, Daley, Fritchey, Gainer, Garcia, Gorman, Goslin, Murphy, Reyes, Schneider, Silvestri, Suffredin and Tobolski (15). Absent: Commissioners Sims and Steele (2). INVOCATION Rabbi Stanley Eli Kroll, Rabbi and Spiritual Leader of the Chicago Loop Synagogue gave the Invocation. _________________________ President Preckwinkle moved that the meeting do now recess for the purpose of holding the various committee meetings. 1 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS FOR JUNE 1, 2011 BOARD RECONVENED President Preckwinkle in the Chair.
