Possible deployment of EM Expert Cleaning-up activities; Distribution of Relief Items; Technician for the Water distribution system and dryers 21/05/2014 Austria Disaster relief unit of the Austrian Armed Forces deployed – 76 02/06/2014 Based in Orasje WASH solders (consisting of command and logistic cell, detection elements, decontamination elements, a medical element and three water purification elements as well as specialists on chemical and biological hazards). This unit is capable of producing 240.000 l potable water per day which is sufficient to serve 50.000 persons. Unit will also transport the purified water to central distribution sites.
