Prosecution update – Fonterra Sentencing decision 5.1 Mr A D McLay, Director-Resource Management, spoke to the memorandum updating the Committee on the prosecution of Fonterra for its part in a breach of section 15(1)(c) of the Resource Management Act 1991 whereby odorous compounds were intermittently discharged into the atmosphere from the Eltham Wastewater Treatment Plan between 6 March 2014 and 16 May 2014. The Notes of Judge B P Dwyer on sentencing relating to Decision (CRI-2014-043-001198) were received. 5.2 Mr B E Pope, Compliance Manager noted that the EADER is now covered.
