MARCH-APRIL 2017 MAGAZINE A Publication for the members of Hunters Run Country Club Our Eye-Catching Outdoor Canvas of Art and Sculpture (Pages 20-21 and Back Cover) Special Feature: HOME COOKING ENTERTAINMENT Let Us Entertain You! By Renee Stern, Entertainment Committee Chair As most of you have noticed, and many of you have commented on, your 2016/2017 Entertainment Committee has been very busy this year. We are delighted that all of our efforts have brought community approval, and regret that many of you were unable to attend some of our events due to space constrictions. Hopefully, in the future this will be somewhat alleviated as we try to repeat our most popular events at later dates. Our Valentine's Day Dinner Dance was a beautiful evening in a room filled with love. At this time, we look forward to two new Starlight Theater presentations, a repeat of the Motown Show so many of you missed, our Spring Dinner Dance and additional lectures, book reviews, 92nd Street Y programs, vacation week activities and our Sunday Night OFFICERS AND BOARD movies. And there are more in the works, so please continue to check your emails, flyers at the Media Center and MEMBERS 2016-2017 notices that come with your monthly bills. We have some wonderful events coming your way. EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE At this time, we are also looking ahead to the summer months. Although committees do change with each new President David Gold election, we still try to plan things for our “rounders” to enjoy while trying to find some cool. Vice President Bernard Silver This has been a fabulous year for entertainment at Hunters Run and a great year for me. I owe that to the wonderful Treasurer Steve Bzura people who joined our committee and dedicated many hours to its success. And, of course, to Graham Cordrey who Secretary Renee Stern is “the wind beneath my wings.” Thank you all for your support and your enthusiasm. Mitch Krasnoff Finally, thank you to the membership of Hunters Run. Your kudos and encouragement provide impetus to all we do.
