INTRODUCTION OF THE PROJECT The proposed stone mining is Khata no.: 62, 52, 62, 48, 46Plot.no. 1(P), 2(P), 6(P), 8(P) & 13(P) respectively having an area of 1.19 Acres/0.48 Ha in Village: Daminbhita, P.S: Mirzachauki, District: Sahibganj(Jharkhand). The applicant M/S Ashoka Engineering Stone Works has been done the agreement with govt of Jharkhand for this lease area of 3.18 acres on due date 10/11/2010 for 7 years. Identification of project and project proponent The proposed stone mining is is Khata no.: 62, 52, 62, 48, 46Plot.no. 1(P), 2(P), 6(P), 8(P) & 13(P) respectively having an area of 1.19 Acres/0.48 Ha in Village: Daminbhita, P.S: Mirzachauki, District: Sahibganj(Jharkhand). Shri Ashok Kumar Singh, Prop of M/S Ashoka Engineering Stone Works has involved in the stone mining activities of this project. 2.2. Brief description of nature of the project The proposed stone mining is is Khata no.: 62, 52, 62, 48, 46Plot.no. 1(P), 2(P), 6(P), 8(P) & 13(P) respectively having an area of 1.19 Acres/0.48 Ha in Village: Daminbhita, P.S: Mirzachauki, District: Sahibganj(Jharkhand). Now, considering the demand and supply of stone, applicant wants to apply environmental clearance for his mine lease for stone production. Hence he has applied as a new project and sought environmental clearance for this project from DEIAA, Sahibganj.
