He expressed his gratitude to the management of JIS group for initiating such a noble initiatives of sending students to AIT for global exposure. Prof. Nitin Kumar Tripathi, Director, special degree program, AIT, appreciated the enthusiasm of the students, and their desire to enhance their learning. “All of us at AIT have been impressed by your participation and performance,” Prof. Tripathi remarked. Purpose of sending the student to AIT, Bangkok: Our current education system is text book oriented which lacks practical implementation aspects. Through this education camp students get 1. Global exposure: They get a chance to interact with the world renowned scientists and professors of NSTDA, JAXA (Japan Aerospace Agency), AIT, Bangkok Univerisity. The international exposure provided by the JIS group will help students engage with the global community in a multicultural environment. 2. Facing real life problem: They face some real life problem where they are asked to find set of solutions. Students give presentation on the last day where they propose their solution to those problems. Professors of AIT give some suggestions on the proposal. Through discussion and continuous learning process they realize without application of the knowledge, education is incomplete. Students are performing on 16th January cultural program. Participating students of the last winter camp got motivated to pursue higher studies, become entrepreneur rather than doing job immediately after completing BTech. Two students of the last winter camp applied at AIT for masters program (one in Communication Engineering department and another in Nano Technology department) though they are placed in MNC’s from college campus drive. One student got selected for internship project at Bangkok University under Dr. Poomphat. Participating student’s feedback “It was a wonderful experience to interact with highly experienced and qualified professors and learning such high class technology was amazing. The places we visited other than AIT campus like Grand Palace, Asiatique, Safari world, NSM, Bangkok University ware also very interesting.
