NFL action on FOX Sports begins in primetime on Sunday, August 17 (8:00 PM ET) as quarterback Alex Smith and the Kansas City Chiefs march into Carolina for a battle with the NFC South Champion Panthers, led by signal-caller Cam Newton, from Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, N.C. Play-by-play announcer Kevin Burkhardt, analyst John Lynch and sideline reporter Erin Andrews call the game. Preseason action on FOX Sports returns on Sunday, August 24 (4:00 PM ET) when Philip Rivers and the San Diego Chargers face off against the 49ers led by Colin Kaepernick from the newly minted Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif.
