The contest will run from November 23, 2016 to January 15, 2017. A winner will be randomly selected and announced on January 23, 2017, National Pie Day. In 2016 a new category, Better For You, was introduced. These pies were required to have a crust made with products that included oats, quinoa, ancient grains or any alternative sugar products.
