The cult classic features Jennifer Grey, Jerry Orbach, and Patrick Sawyze. The movie will follow a happy hour at 6:30pm. Tickets are $5-7 and may be purchased online at WeinbergCenter.org, by calling the Box Office at 301.600.2828, or in person at 20 West Patrick St. Discounts are available for students, children, military, and seniors. Frances “Baby” Houseman, a privileged daddy’s girl, spends the summer at a resort in upstate New York’s Catskill Mountains. Baby’s family expects her to go to college, join the Peace Corps, and marry a doctor. However, Baby becomes infatuated with the resort’s dance instructor, Johnny Castle, a man whose means are vastly different from her own. Baby and Johnny’s lives entangle when she fills in as his dance partner — their chemistry is undeniable and they fall in love, but everything crumbles when Baby’s parents find out.
