Wilbur is an Associate Professor of Biblical Literature and Archaeology, and Ardelia is an Associate Professor of Art and Coordinator of the Art Department. As they begin their 33rd year of teaching, the couple has given no thought to retirement. Wilbur and Ardelia Williams, as much as anyone on campus, exemplify the kind of excellence that makes IWU an excellent university. In the next few pages, we invite you to listen in on our conversation with the Williamses – and to meet some other people who are examples of excellence at IWU. 4 | TRIANGLE Wilbur & Ardelia You both are graduates of Indiana or should I date that girl?’ and she’d ARDELIA: I was a double major, music Wesleyan University.
