The service frequency will be increased to operate every 20 minutes between 1000 and 1700. Service(s) 8 Route Pudsey | Horsforth | Cross Gates | Halton Operator Connexionsbuses Date Monday 28 April 2014 Details Together with service 8A, a revised timetable will be introduced on this service to improve reliability and punctuality. The 0745 journey from Horsforth will now operate on service 8A, continuing to Thorpe Park upon request to the driver. On Fridays the 1412 journey from Horsforth will now terminate at Colton. The 0907 from Halton will now start from Colton at 0917 and on Mondays to Thursdays an additional journey will operate at 1507 from Templegate to Horsforth,. Service(s) 8A Route Pudsey | Horsforth | Cross Gates | Thorpe Park Operator Connexionsbuses Date Monday 07 April 2014 Details Together with service 8, a revised timetable will be introduced on this service to improve reliability and punctuality. A new journey at 0745 from Horsforth will now operate continuing to Thorpe Park upon request to the driver. On Fridays, the 1412 journey from Horsforth will now terminate at Colton and the 1505 journey from Thorpe Park will now operate as new service 8B. 2 3 Service(s) 8B [New Service] Route Thorpe Park | Colton | Cross Gates | Pudsey Operator Connexionsbuses Date Monday 07 April 2014 Details This is a new Monday to Friday journey operating at 1515 from Thorpe Park to Pudsey, replacing a journey on service 8A at 1505. Between Thorpe Park and Colton the service operates the route of service 8A. From Colton to Pudsey it then follows the route of service 8 serving Kingswear Crescent and Austhorpe Road. Service(s) 9 Route Horsforth | Pudsey | White Rose | Seacroft Operator First Date Sunday 27 April 2014 Details A revised route and timetable will be introduced on this service to improve reliability and punctuality. The service will no longer operate through Colton Village but via Selby Road. Service(s) 33, 33A [Green Line] Route Leeds | Horsforth | Guiseley | Menston | Otley Operator First Date Sunday 27 April 2014 Details A revised daily timetable will be introduced on these services to improve reliability and punctuality. Some journeys previously operating between Leeds and Yeadon as service 33A will be replaced by journeys on service 33 between Leeds and Horsforth only. Service(s) 36 Route Halifax | Pellon | Rye Lane Operator Yorkshire Tiger Date Sunday 27 April 2014 Details A revised timetable will be introduced on this service to improve reliability and punctuality. Additional early and late journeys are being introduced on Mondays to Saturdays. The service will also have a reduced wait in Halifax Bus Station allowing faster journeys between Halifax and Rye Lane. Journeys between Albert Road - Bus Depot and Halifax will be withdrawn. Service(s) 36 [The 36] Route Leeds | Harewood | Harrogate | Ripley | Ripon Operator Transdev in Harrogate Date Sunday 27 April 2014 Details There is a change to the limited stop conditions on this service. In Chapel Allerton, the Yorkshire Bank stop will now be the first drop-off point on journeys from Leeds and the last pick-up point on journeys towards Leeds. There are no changes to times. Service(s) 42 Route Old Farnley | Leeds | Oakwood | Fearnville Operator First Date Sunday 30 March 2014 Details Services towards Old Farnley now stop at The Headrow bus stop H5 instead of Eastgate. This is due to the forthcoming Victoria Gate development. 6 7 Service(s) 46, 46A Route Barnsley | Cudworth | Shafton | South Hiendley Operator Red Line Buses Date Monday 28 April 2014 Details A revised timetable will be introduced on these services with journeys operating, on Schooldays only, at 0805 from South Heindley to Barnsley and 1500 from Shafton to Barnsley. A journey will also operate at 1546 from Barnsley to South Heindley. Service(s) 48, 48A Route Barnsley | Cudworth | Shafton | Hemsworth Operator Red Line Buses Date Monday 28 April 2014 Details A revised route and timetable will be introduced on these services, which will now operate from Hemsworth Bus Station to Barnsley via Grimethorpe, Shafton Cross Roads and Cudworth. A new journey at 0800 will operate from Hemsworth to Barnsley on service 48 while additional journeys will operate wholly within South Yorkshire between Brierley and Barnsley. The route of the service is also revised in Farnley, operating along Water Lane and Wood Lane between Butt Lane and Pudsey Road, not the Ring Road.
