Originally built in 1950, it has run at Crich Tramway Village for many years, eventually requiring an overhaul which has taken 18 months and £60,000 to complete. One aspect which received attention were the side panels depicting Sheeld’s transport history which were painstakingly recreated in the Museum workshops.
