After the necessary care during the growing cycle, the grapes were handpicked and transported to the cellar in small boxes. WINEMAKING After selection on the sorting table, the grapes are destemmed before pre- fermentation maceration takes place. The fermentation is carried out in controlled temperature stainless steel vats and “Lagares”. MATURING When the malolactic fermentation has finished, the wine matures for 12 months in 1- year and 2-year French and American oak barrels. After bottling the bottle rests for 10 months in the cellar. To preserve all its qualities this wine was not stabilized and sediments may form naturally. TASTING NOTES Clear wine, deep violet red, aromas of plum, blackberry, cocoa and spices, with floral notes. Complex, structured, fresh and voluminous, with roasted aromas, rich tannins and lasting finish, revealing the full potential of aging. LONGEVITY Between 20 and 30 years, if stored in a dry and dark place with the bottle lying down. RECOMMENDED WITH Red meat and game, strong cheeses and spicy sausages. Serve at a temperature of 16-18º C. Decantation is recommended. PREVIOUS HARVESTS 2011, 2013, 2014 Standard (750ml) EN 4, km 136.4 .
