(2004) who showed that the use of Ciconiiformes to include most of the non-passerines, sensu Sibley & Monroe (1990), is untenable as the taxon is then paraphyletic. Two records from Norfolk Island, 1975 (McKean et al. 1976) and 1976 (Moore 1981). .
