Ms. Patrice Anderson, local educator, was the fea- tured speaker. Entertainment included a per- formance by the Glam Squad Kids Fashion Show. The Foundation is named in honor of the late Mrs. Hendrix, a long-term educator and admin- istrator in Seminole County Public Schools for more than 32 years. She is well known for pro- viding monetary support and encouragement to students and adults pursuing their educa- tional goals. Proceeds from fundraisers sup- port scholarships for graduating high school seniors in Seminole County. This year’s scholarship was presented to Miss Onneka Jones, a Lake Mary High School graduate.
