The Coos Bay School Board voted unan- imously Monday night to approve the hir- ing of Doug Holland of Tucson, Ariz. to fill the slot being vacated by Greg Mulkey. The new principal will begin work next week. Mulkey, who has held the slot since 2009, is stepping down to the dual posi- tions of dean of students and athletic director.
