Ian Desmond and Chris Iannetta hit back-to-back home runs in the fifth inning, the fifth time that the Rockies have gone back- to-back this season (last: June 19, three consecutive home runs by Arenado, Story, Desmond). Kyle Freeland pitched six innings and allowed two runs on a career-high 11 hits with one walk and four strikeouts … finishes the regular season with a 2.85 ERA (202.1 IP, 64 ER), the lowest full-season ERA for a starting pitcher in Rockies history … his 2.40 ERA (93.2 IP, 25 ER) at home is also the lowest for a starter in franchise history … he is the first Rockies pitcher to reach 200.0 innings pitched in a season since Ubaldo Jimenez in 2010 (221.2 IP) … made his 11th consecutive quality start, the third-longest quality start streak for a single season in franchise history … recorded his 17th win, tied for the second-most in franchise history and the most since Ubaldo Jimenez recorded a franchise-record 19 wins in 2010. David Dahl hit his 15th home run of the season, and has now recorded a home run in five consecutive games … he is the fourth player in Rockies history to record a home run streak of five or more games, joining Dante Bichette (Aug. 1-5, 1995), Larry Walker (June 18-23, 1999), and Nolan Arenado, who holds the franchise record with a six-game home run streak, Sept. 1-5, 2015.
