<p> COURT APPOINTED SPECIAL ADVOCATES OF ???????? COUNTY, INC PEER COORDINATOR-ADVOCATE AGREEMENT</p><p>Your CASA Peer Coordinator is ______.</p><p>Your CASA Designated Paid Staff Member is______.</p><p>Your CASA Peer Coordinator will provide coaching and support to you by:</p><p> Assisting you with development of CASA case goals and ongoing strategies including the CASA Advocacy Plan</p><p> Contacting you at least weekly for the first three months and subsequently at least once a month</p><p> Conduct evaluations with you at 3 months and annually thereafter</p><p> Assisting you with the preparation of reports</p><p> Accompanying you at visits, court hearings and other agencies’ meetings when appropriate</p><p> Notifying you of scheduled reviews and hearings regarding your case</p><p> Informing you of in-services, conferences and seminars that will enhance your ability to serve as a child’s advocate and to ensure that you meet your requirement of a minimum of 12 hours of in- service training annually.</p><p>Your Peer Coordinator or paid staff will be available to assist you whenever needed. Call your Peer Coordinator or your paid staff during regular business hours Monday through Friday when: </p><p> You are not sure how to proceed</p><p> You need assistance with your reports</p><p> You want to update your Peer Coordinator regarding new information</p><p> You have been notified by another agency of a change in a scheduled meeting or other information</p><p> You need a “sounding board” and/or an avenue to vent frustration There is an emergency or crisis in your case (If your Peer Coordinator is not available contact a staff member)</p><p> You are unavailable for your case due to a lengthy illness, family emergency, or plan to be out of town for employment or vacation for 7 or more days</p><p> You are experiencing difficulty in your relationship with another professional, and need to explore conflict-resolution strategies</p><p> If you need to speak to someone outside of CASA business hours, a paid staff will be “on-call”.
